Keng's Cafe Culture | SEOUL
Visiting Seoul for the WBC in 2017 was an amazing trip. This was my third World Of Coffee visit and it being in South Korea made it even more fun. Walking around in different parts of the city, packed with multiple cameras and looking for everything I was into at that moment. I stumbled upon many great looking cafes, serving tasty coffees with amazing friendly people. Some of these on here are definitely on my all-time-favorite list.
Anthracite Coffee Roasters
A small and beautiful bar, over viewing the streets of Itaewon in the front and the roastery in the back. Equipped with only a handful of stools, it’s a place where you can grab a quick coffee or sit and enjoy the street view, or the people in it. Great coffees from all over the world, paired with a great scenery.

Onion Cafe
From all of the cafes visited in Seoul, @cafe.onion has to be my favorite. After I found this place online, months before I went to Seoul, it was on top of my list.
Situated in between small factories and old car repair shops, it’s truly a sight to visit in the Seongsu area. Blurring the lines between interior and exterior, the glass walls and the concrete/steel interior blend in with the beautiful garden. From communal seating to some more private booths, the minimal branding together with the amazing pastry selection (all made in house) turn this old renovated supermarket into one of the most beautiful cafes I’ve ever visited. Don’t forget to check out the roof terrace for a great view of the neighborhoods surroundings.

Coffee Arco
I found @coffeearco whilst walking around Sinsa-dong, Gangnam. My morning walk turned out to be a great one filled with amazing coffees. I maybe had one of the best espresso of Seoul there, sitting in this cute cafe, enjoying the morning rays over their nice little terrace and having a nice chat with the barista whilst she was dialing in shots.

Tucked away in the street of Hannam. A modern twist on traditional Korean food. Minimalistic interior paired with epic guilty pleasure hits playing in the background. Run with perfection by two young guys.

Low Coffee Hannam
Located in the quiet Hannam area, you'll find this minimalistic cafe in a very vivid boutique shopping area. The cafe itself is beautifully light and bright, with a great selection of cold teas, coffees and ceramics.

'COFFEE'
In Sinsa-Dong, whilst sitting in Coffee Arco, I found myself looking across the street at COFFEE. A beautiful three story cafe and bakery. When you walk in, you’re amazed by the beautiful pastry selection, all made in house. After that you’re greeted by an amazing spacious interior and an even greater rooftop terrace. One of my favorites found in Seoul! Not sure what the exact adresss is, or whether COFFEE is the actual name, I just know that it is across the street from Coffee Arco. Definitely worth the search!
